CEO and founding member, Dr. Ester S. Stevens, is a United States Air Force veteran. She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Business Administration from Ottawa University-Phoenix in 2004.
Dr. Stevens completed a Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Psychology (2010) and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology Degree (2014) from Argosy University-Phoenix. She gained additional experience from inpatient and outpatient settings at Luke Air Force Base Mental Health Clinic, The Youth Development Institute, Arizona Department of Juvenile Corrections, Aurora Behavioral Health, West Valley Family Development Center, Amy Houston Academy, and the Peoria Unified School District. There, she provided mental health services to patients ranging in age from early childhood to older adults.
Those services included Psychosexual and Psychological Evaluations, Individual and Group Therapy, Family and Couple's Therapy, Sex Offender Individual/Group Treatment and Sexual Victim Individual/Group Treatment, Substance Abuse Therapy/Groups, and Anger and Stress Management Therapy and Education Programs.
Dr. Stevens's passion for Cannabidiol (CBD) stems from her background in treating service members.
Co-Founder and COO Fred Stevens Jr. earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from Northern Arizona University (NAU 1997). He obtained his Master of Arts Degree in Innovative Leadership from Western International University in 2013.
Stevens is a licensed civil engineer with the State of Arizona and worked as a Water Resource Portfolio Manager within the municipal government sector. His responsibilities included forecasting and acquiring essential water supplies for future population growth while overseeing water resource conservation programs. He also served as a committee member on a state regional planning committee, helping to determine policy for accessing and delivering water banked in the Pima, Pinal, and Maricopa County aquifers of Arizona during drought.
Stevens is passionate about conserving water across all industry sectors and believes that the industrial hemp industry may help provide a sustainable solution to preserving one of Arizona's most precious resources.
On November 5th, 2019, Stevens graduated from The University of Arizona's Master Gardener Training Class.
